Social Media Strategy

I offered to create an official Instagram page for Abilene Christian University College Republicans in 2017. All the content I created increased engagement with the organization. The account grew from 5 to over 500 followers. I also helped optimize their Facebook page.

During my time as Communications Director for Abilene Christian University College Republicans, I received a message from Western Kentucky University College Republicans asking for social media strategy because they were impressed with our content. I gave them tips to increase engagement, which helped their organization grow.

After graduating college, I interned at Dallas County Republican Party. One of my responsibilities was to manage DCRP social media Facebook and Instagram. I posted political event invites, photos from DCRP events, and I created holiday graphics.

I currently administer Hispanic Republicans of Texas Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. I post flyers, event photos, policies, and holiday graphics. After taking initiative to research ways to improve HRT's Instagram, engagement increased.
